THE VISIT
Once upon a time… there was a very greedy queen of France named Marie de Medici (1575-1642) who was born in Florence, Italy, when the brilliant artist Bernardo Buontalenti invented “il dolce freddo”, a delicious ice cream. Marie loved “il dolce freddo” so much that the day she had to leave Florence to marry the French king Henry IV, she took the precious ice cream recipe with her. In Paris, the Court discovered this delicacy, still unknown in France, and even went so far as to plot to get hold of the secret… until the day the recipe mysteriously disappeared!
Help Queen Marie de Medici find her precious ice cream recipe by following the clues scattered throughout her estate, the Luxembourg Gardens. At the end of your treasure hunt, you’ll be entitled to a gourmet reward!!
